My sons and I ditched my wife for the Wembley Stadium Tour while she went shopping. Worked out great for both of us! We loved the tour. My sons went crazy when they saw the players’ tunnel they always see on TV. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them pay so much attention to a grown-up in my life - including me! Especially when our guide Rob was talking about the Emirates FA Cup Final they have every year. Basically, if you have children who like football, they’ll love this tour.
I kind of expected our guide to show us the stadium and say ‘that’s that.’ After all, Wembley is impressive all on its own. There are over 90,000 seats, as we learned! But it was actually a really informative tour. We went through the stadium’s full history and learned about a bunch of famous sports and music events. I thought I knew Live Aid…turns out I didn’t hahah. Plus, it was super cool to see the pitchside part. Kind of trippy to stand somewhere you have only ever seen on TV. Great tour, highly recommended.

You’ll also walk down the Walk of Legends - an exhibition full of sports and music memorabilia. For example, the Olympic flag from the 1948 Olympics. Ed Sheeran’s guitar from his 2018 sell-out solo shows is also there.
